Who is Southern Star?

Southern Star Home Service was founded in Stafford, TX with a simple goal: give homeowners a contractor they can genuinely trust. We saw too many families deal with rushed work, unclear estimates, poor communication, and projects that didn’t turn out as promised. So we built our company around a different standard: show up when we say we will, communicate honestly, explain our recommendations in plain language, and stand behind the work we do. Today, that commitment has helped us serve homeowners throughout Stafford, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, Katy, Pearland, and the greater Houston area.

What sets Southern Star apart is our ability to handle both foundation repair and remodeling under one roof. We believe a beautiful home starts with a strong foundation, which is why our team brings hands-on expertise to foundation leveling, structural repairs, cracks, uneven floors, and other signs of foundation movement. At the same time, our remodeling team handles kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, roofing, painting, cabinetry, interior renovations, and outdoor living spaces.

Whether we’re solving a structural problem or transforming a room, we focus on quality materials, proven methods, and solutions designed for the unique conditions Houston-area homes face, including expansive clay soil, heavy rain, and intense Texas heat.

Most importantly, we believe the experience should be just as good as the finished project. That means clear estimates, fair pricing, real communication, no unnecessary pressure, and a team that takes the time to understand what you actually need.

With 73 completed projects, 1,684 happy clients, and more than 3,000 dreams built and restored, we’re proud of the relationships we’ve built along the way. Whether you need foundation repair, a complete remodel, or simply have a question about your home, Southern Star Home Service is here to provide honest answers, quality workmanship, and a free, no-pressure estimate.
